Cavan Sports Partnership is a Sport Ireland funded initiative delivered through Cavan County Council. CSP was established in 2008 with the aim of increasing participation in sport and physical activity for all people in Cavan.

CSP forms part of a national network of local sports partnerships, all charged with the objective of creating opportunities for all people to participate in sport and physical activity, regardless of their ability, gender or background. Our role in cavan includes: 1) Supporting facilities, organisations and volunteers which makes sports possible. 2) Enabling sports activities which appeal to people and encourage participation. 3) Providing access to information on sports activities, opportunities and organisations.
